چکیده

We introduce a novel transmittance model to improve the volumetric representation of 3D scenes. The can represent opaque surfaces in light transport framework. Volumetric representations are useful for complex scenes, and become increasingly popular level detail scene reconstruction. traditional exponential found cannot capture correlations visibility across volume elements. When representing as density, this leads both bloating silhouettes leaking artifacts. By introducing parametric non-exponential model, we able approximate these correlation effects significantly accuracy appearance Our continuum between linear that exhibit encountered participating media unstructured geometries. A Survey of Methods for Volumetric Scene Reconstruction from Photographs

Scene reconstruction, the task of generating a 3D model of a scene given multiple 2D photographs taken of the scene, is an old and difficult problem in computer vision. Since its introduction, scene reconstruction has found application in many fields, including robotics, virtual reality, and entertainment. Volumetric models are a natural choice for scene reconstruction. Three broad classes of v...

Temperature Distribution of a Non gray Gas between Two Parallel Planes Using Exponential Wide Band Model

In this paper, the Radiation Transfer Equation(RTE) for a non-gray gas between two large parallel planes has been solved and the temperature distribution obtained. With the RTE, solution heat fluxes are also determined. Since and are two components of most combustion products, the problem has been solved for these two gases. The results were, whenever possible, compared with data reported el...

Time Varying Volumetric Scene Reconstruction Using Scene Flow

Traditional volumetric scene reconstruction algorithms involve the evaluation of many millions of voxels which is highly time consuming. This paper presents an efficient algorithm based of future frame prediction that can dramatically reduce the number of voxels to be evaluated in time varying scenes. The new prediction method, combining scene flow and morphological dilations, is evaluated agai...
